Almost one hundred tracks were recorded by Ken Colyer's Jazzmen in the year between Ken's return from New Orleans and the formation of the original band, and the split between Ken and the rest of the band, which led to the formation of Chris Barber's Jazz Band on 31 May, 1954. Fans of both the Colyer and Barber bands -- as well as collectors -- will likely being interested in the following complete discography, showing where the tracks can be purchased on compact discs (almost all of which have been issued since the end of 2003).

Recording dates: Recording dates are listed as shown on the CDs, rather than the dates listed in the Bielderman-Purser discography; there are minor discrepancies in a few cases. The dates are shown in a format that permits easy sorting in a spreadsheet: thus, 530418 means April 18, 1953; 530299 means February 1953 but the exact date of recording is not known; and 535499 means that the date of recording is not known other than that it occurred in 1953 or 1954.
