The Chris Barber's Jazz Band/ The Chris Barber Jazz & Blues Band section of the website covers many aspects of the band between the split with Ken Colyer in 1954 and the expansion of the band to the Big Chris Barber Band in 2001 -- plus a few recent personnel changes. The page is divided into three sections: (1) To begin with, and to put things in perspective, there are some "overview" pages about how the band's personnel changed over a period of fifty years; (2) Pages covering specific periods in the band's history; and (3) Some special "feature pages" about the earliest days of the band.
