| Another Side of Chris Barber |
| As many long-time Chris Barber fans will know, Chris is a car racing enthusiast, and took part in many races in the late 1950s and 1960s. The following three photos have been donated by David Drinkwater, who writes, "The pics show CB with Ottilie Patterson in the summer of 1959 at Silverstone. It looks as though there some problems with the Elite initially but evidently the Crypton Tuner sorted them out and as you can see Chris gives a cheery wave as he departs. Actually I'm not sure whether he is wearing a flat cap or his crash helmet so they might not have been cured." |
