Gerard Bielderman, the Dutch collector and discographer,
has sent us another printout from the music paper Melody Maker,
dated November 14, 1959. You can read this very interesting article,
written by Tony Brown, reflecting the success of the Barber
Band and the unfair critics of that time.
This article was published shortly after the Chris
Barber Jazz Band returned home from a very successful US tour in
October 1959. |
