While on several levels The Best Of Both Worlds is one of the best Barber LPs ever to have been produced, sadly much of it is still not available on compact disc. A couple of tracks appeared on the Black Lion compilation CD, In The Beginning, and all of the Louis Jordan songs on the LP, plus the rest that were recorded but not released at the time, can be found on Louis Jordan & Chris Barber. But this still leaves several Edmond Hall and band-alone tracks still to be re-issued, which we can only hope will happen in the near future.
